Jeff Lei is a full professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Texas, Arlington. He received his Bachelor's degree from Wuhan University (Special Class for Gifted Young), his Master's degree from Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and his Ph.D. degree from North Carolina State University. He was a Member of Technical Staff in Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc. for about three years. His research is in the area of automated software analysis, testing and verification, with a special interest in software security assurance at the implementation level.
I am interested in developing methods, techniques, and tools to increase the productivity of software practitioners so that they can develop better software faster. In particular, I am interested in automated software analysis, testing, and verification techniques, currently with a special focus on software security assurance.
