Biography
Alexandra I. Cristea is an associate professor (Reader) and head of the Intelligent and Adaptive Systems Research Group at the University of Warwick. She is also the deputy chair of the Graduate Studies Committee of the Faculty of Science and director of postgraduate research in computer science. Her research interests include user modeling, personalization, the Semantic Web, and the social Web. Cristea has a PhD in computer science from the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo. She is a British Computer Society (BCS) fellow, a Higher Education Academy (HEA) associate fellow, and a member of IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society.
